whD was founded in 2015 when an employer who faced a significant group medical increase needed to find a way to control costs while maintaining a high level of benefits. After partnering with a brokerage firm in northeast Florida and reviewing strategies to bundle different programs together to solve the cost crisis, whD was formed. Since then, the whD solution has been leveraged by multiple employers and strategic partners across the country.
